Early October I had the joy of meeting Miss A and to say she was a natural to photograph would be an understatement! She’s an all American girl who truly lights up the camera. Those leaves have all now fallen & I am so glad we got to enjoy such a gorgeous day together!

This family. Are they not the cutest?! I actually photographed these shots a year ago & can still hear the little one saying, “Hi!” in her sweet little one year old voice. We had so much fun and their Christmas card last year was TO DIE FOR!

Many of you know I used to gently carry my beloved red velvet couch out to fields & parks for some fun family photo shoots. Well, as described here, that beloved red couch has been retired & my friend GENEROUSLY GAVE ME a vintage ivory couch to replace it. {Total miracle! It is the exact shape of my red couch & I love it!}
As you can see, the ivory couch provides such elegance, beauty, & snuggle time fun! One great thing about the ivory couch is that wardrobe color is no longer limited {ie: when shooting the red couch, you obviously could not wear any shade of red or it would not look good.} Anything looks great against the ivory {well, maybe not white, but creams would look sweet.}
As I’ve said before, I do these couch shoots in limited doses. I will let you know the next time I am planning one, but for now, simply enjoy this beautiful family!

This beautiful mama may very well be in labor this very moment! A couple months ago we had a blast photographing her baby belly & other 3 boys {including her hubby!}. What a fun family. And, soon enough Miss M there will be even more blue in your laundry basket! Can’t wait to meet him!

Last week I had the sheer joy of photographing this more-than-cute-purely-adorable-loving-family. The baby was on the move. The little sis was full of giggles. Big sis is the perfect mommy’s helper. Big bro’s smile stole the show.
The best part? Just watching the love between all of them.
The mama was brilliant with her vision for the shoot: at “their” park, wearing pure white shirts, blue jeans, bare feet = classic. I hope these timeless portraits will make this family smile for years to come. We REALLY got their feet dirty, which I for one was glad as I wanted to create the above art using a poem that hung on my friend’s grandma’s fridge for life. I love it! Hope you do too!
