{Book available HERE}
I am currently knee-deep in a huge book design project & thought I would take a little “blogging break” and share with you another book I have designed for Tyndale House Publishers. The One Year Praying the Promises of God was created for women as a daily devotional to get them into the Word and claim God’s promises in their own lives through prayer. I wanted a scrapbook type of look to communicate a personal, “hand’s on” feel of the book {ie: it is for YOUR personal life! these promises are for YOU!} and the scrapbook collage look also communicates that there are many bits & pieces inside.
I scoured ETSY {where my original shop lives on} and fell IN LOVE with Stephanie Ryan’s light, delicate, and colorful watercolors. While I was in college majoring in illustration, I focused mainly on watercolor painting so I have a great appreciation for her artwork. She graciously agreed to allow us to use her beautiful illustrations and since then, she has been licensed nationwide & is a HUGE success in the industry! Go Stephanie!
OK, back to work! OH & before I forget, I am doing a giveaway over at my new friend Jess’ blog for a chance to win a $50 gift card to my shop! Go HERE to enter the giveaway which ends tomorrow!
Grace & Peace,
Julie
